Public transit: The Kauaʻi Bus services Kōloa/Poʻipū (Route 30 and Kōloa–Lihue mainline) with limited hours and infrequent headways; plan around published schedules. Taxis and rideshare availability exist but can be limited and more expensive than on Oʻahu/Maui—book in advance during busy times. Local shuttles (hotel/resort shuttles, private transfer companies) provide point-to-point service to/from the airport and major hotels. Biking and e-bikes are feasible for short local trips but roads may be hilly and have limited shoulders.
