Note: airport pickups have additional restrictions/enforcement at times—prebooked shuttles or authorized taxi desks at the airport are common. Shuttles and private transfers: Shared and private airport shuttles run between SJD and downtown Cabo San Lucas; many operators service vacation rentals. Car rental: Widely available at SJD and in Cabo; useful for exploring the Tourist Corridor and nearby beaches. Colectivos/minibuses: Inexpensive minibuses run along major routes (Tourist Corridor toward San José del Cabo), but routes/stops can be informal compared with taxis/shuttles.
