Public transit: The Kauaʻi County bus (The Kauaʻi Bus / Kōloa Shuttle Route 30) provides local shuttle service around Kōloa and Poʻipū with hourly-ish service; schedules are limited so check the county timetable for exact times. Airport shuttles & private shuttles: several shared-ride shuttles and private transfer companies serve Līhuʻe Airport ⇄ Poʻipū. Taxis / rideshares: taxis and limited rideshare service are available but can be slower/less predictable than on larger islands — plan ahead for pickups. Walking / biking: the immediate area around Poʻipū is walkable for shopping, dining and beach access; many visitor properties provide on-site parking and are within short walking distance to beaches or the Hapa Trail.
